Description

Looking to stay in the Lot region in a motorhome? Book a pitch designed for motorhomes. These pitches are located by the river and are stabilized. The pitches are approximately 120 m² and are bordered by trees, hedges, and flowers. The pitches are partially shaded. Our pitches are located near a water point and each offers a 10A electrical hook-up. At our campsite in the heart of the Lot, you will find a waste disposal and service area for your motorhome. Standard pitches accommodate tents, caravans, and campervans. At 120 m², the space is comfortable: large enough to pitch a family tent, park the car next to it, and still have room for a table and chairs. The site is grassy, with varying degrees of natural shade depending on the pitch—those directly bordering the river are generally the most open, while the others are more shaded under the trees. A riverside pitch makes a difference to the quality of your stay. In the evening, the light on the water in the late afternoon, children coming down to the banks, the natural coolness rising from the Dordogne when the July heatwave arrives—these are practical details as much as they create an atmosphere. Many campers return every year, specifically requesting the same pitches. Motorhome pitches—stabilized ground, direct river access Some pitches have been specifically designed for motorhomes: stabilized ground (crushed stone or drainage slabs) rather than grass, to prevent heavy vehicles from sinking and to ensure a level surface in all conditions. These pitches are located by the river — thus combining easy access for vehicles with optimal exposure to the surrounding area. For motorhome users, this is the most significant difference compared to a standard grass pitch: stabilizers can be deployed without risk, the ground is level, and the surface remains stable even in wet weather. Campsite Services and Facilities Camping La Bourgnatelle is a small, friendly campsite — 40 pitches is just enough to ensure a peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities without being overwhelmed during peak season. Sanitary blocks are located throughout the grounds with hot water available continuously.
